Module 6 video review
1. For each video list/discuss the key concepts you learned. Through the Eyes of the Sculptor- I learned about the process of creating a sculpture out of, say, marble, where the sculptor creates what he wants to create in clay so that he can mess around with it and then uses plaster and then marble to create the finished product. It makes sense that one would do it this way, but I have never really thought about it before now. I enjoyed seeing how detailed the silicone impressions of the sculptures were. It was also interesting to see all of the people to traveled to northern Italy to sculpt there. The stone that they were sculpting from was as important as the sculpture itself in many cases. The amount of effort needed in order to create these sculpures is astounding. It's amazing that people would go through the trouble of quarrying the amount of stone they need in order to create sculptures. Glass and Ceramics- This video was also interesting to watch. You photos for color and proportion are beautiful! You clearly have a great eye for photography. I also enjoy the photo you used for movement; overall great compositions.
ReplyDeleteYour Images are really cool. It is very nice to see your photography skill. I find “pattern”, “color”, “texture” and “line” very amazing. Looking at the picture for “pattern”, I can tell it’s in Buffalo as I can see the city hall. And funny thing is that I know exactly where the picture is taken. And the image for “color” looks extremely nice; I wonder where it was taken.
